MY FA-CUP TRAVELS

An eventful 2010-11 season saw me cover over 2,700 miles up and down the country, and visiting 12 different grounds to watch 18 games. Along with crowds totaling nearly 250,000!

The final wasn't a classic but to make it to Wembley after all the planning was a lifelong dream come true. Well done Manchester City on their win, though the lasting memory will be the Stoke City fans and Delilah.

This season I thought I'd follow the FA Vase instead of the FA Cup as the early rounds last season were by far the most enjoyable.

So having randomly picked my starting match 'Eccleshall v Racing Club Warwick' is the beginning of another journey. I hope you enjoying following it with me on these pages.
